School Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff
• Monitor and manage student health records and medical histories
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to DOH guidelines
• Handle minor injuries and illnesses, and refer serious cases to hospitals when required
• Conduct routine health screenings such as vision, hearing, and BMI
• Promote health awareness and hygiene practices among students
• Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi Department of Health (DOH) regulations
• Maintain proper documentation and reporting of all medical cases
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administration on student health concerns

Requirements

• Filipino nationality (mandatory)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Valid DOH License or Eligibility (Abu Dhabi)
• Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle children with care and patience

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a School Nurse in the UAE
• Experience working with children or in a pediatric setting
