School Manager ATA/OTA

Responsibilities

• Assume overall responsibility for the pedagogical, organizational, and economic direction of the ATA/OTA school
• Develop a modern, competency-oriented training concept for ATA and OTA programs
• Lead the teaching team professionally and personally, including duty and deployment planning
• Coordinate curricula, lesson planning, practical phases, and examinations
• Represent the school internally and externally and expand cooperation with clinics and training partners
• Moderate school development processes such as simulation and skills training
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements (ATA-OTA-G and ATA-OTA-APrV) and manage quality standards
• Act as a contact person for trainees, instructors, and external partners

Requirements

• Completed training as an Operationstechnische Assistenz (OTA) or a nursing specialist with surgical/anesthesia specialization
• University degree in medicine, nursing, health, or vocational pedagogy
• Several years of professional experience in the operating room area
• Proven experience in ATA/OTA training, ideally in a leadership or deputy leadership role
• Deep knowledge of school organization and curriculum development in the healthcare sector
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills
