School Librarian

Responsibilities

• Drive the school library operations and develop its activities
• Collaborate with teachers to strengthen students' linguistic abilities and reading engagement
• Work pedagogically with media and information literacy and general digital competence
• Support the school in critical source evaluation teaching
• Plan and conduct teaching and supervise students in both the library and classrooms
• Participate in systematic quality work regarding students' linguistic competence
• Ensure the library is a socially, pedagogically, and physically accessible learning environment

Requirements

• Educated school librarian (skolbibliotekarie)
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with students and staff
• Engaged, self-driven, and proactive personality
• Creative, development-oriented, and structured approach
• Strong collaborative skills
