About the role
Responsibilities
- Recommend strategies for university programs, credentials, and approval bodies to achieve key results.
- Maintain multi-jurisdictional knowledge of programmatic approval, licensure, and publication requirements.
- Oversee longitudinal accreditation projects, including self-studies, reports, and site visits.
- Serve as lead author for accreditation documentation, ensuring a cohesive narrative.
- Prepare school personnel for site visits and manage logistics and communication flows.
- Advise on operational and regulatory requirements for faculty credentialing and professional development.
- Support strategic plans for new programs by obtaining necessary regulatory approvals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Seven (7) years of experience working with national, programmatic, and state accreditation or professional licensing processes.
- Experience presenting to authoritative bodies such as state boards or legislatures.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Office 360).
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex analyses and organize legal information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a licensed professional in a represented field.
- Leadership experience within a college or university educator preparation program.
- Prior training as a quality examiner or accreditation site reviewer.
- Experience with on-site reviews (e.g., Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award).
- General knowledge of project management.
- Bi-lingual capabilities (writing and speaking).
