High School diploma or GED, One year school bus driving experience, Oregon CDL with S and P endorsements, Ability to lift 50 lbs
About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive assigned morning and afternoon bus routes and class/athletics trips
- Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Load and unload students at designated stops and campus areas
- Maintain cleanliness and order within the bus interior
- Ensure student safety and discipline following school and state policies
- Complete required training including CPR/First Aid and mandatory reporting
- Conduct annual emergency evacuation drills with students
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- One year of experience driving school buses in city traffic
- Current Oregon Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Air Brake, Passenger, and "S" endorsements
- ODE School Bus Driver Certification
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and push/pull 100 lbs
- Ability to pass background checks, fingerprinting, and drug/alcohol testing
- Proficiency in English (reading and writing)
