Schneider Endowed Distinguished Professor - Psychology

Responsibilities

• Conduct transformative research in the fields of trauma or addiction
• Develop and maintain an independent research program with potential for extramural funding
• Maintain a strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals
• Provide research mentorship to undergraduate and graduate students
• Deliver high-quality instruction to undergraduate and graduate students, including those in the APA-accredited Ph.D. program in Clinical Psychology
• Provide clinical supervision of graduate student clinicians within the Center for Psychological Services

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Psychology or a related field
• 7-10 years of college-level teaching experience
• A distinguished record of teaching and scholarship
• An established reputation among scholars commensurate with a senior faculty rank (Associate or Full Professor) with tenure

Preferred Qualifications

• Training in Clinical Psychology
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Wisconsin
• Proven track record of investigating trauma or addiction
