Scheduling Manager

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage complex multi-project programme time schedules to ensure timely delivery of Programmes.
• Act as coordination lead for the production of outward facing summary reports discussing programme progress, critical issues, impact and mitigation.
• Provide interface and quality assurance regarding the tracking and reporting of schedule performance.
• Analyse, review and highlight critical time schedule issues and ensure viable resolution plans are in place.
• Lead and support the programme team in the implementation of an integrated, cross functional master schedule.
• Analyse deviations from the baseline in the Project Master schedule and propose corrective actions.
• Coordinate the development and implementation of project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS).
• Drive a positive, motivated culture within the scheduling team.

Requirements

• 20+ years’ experience, with at least 5+ years within the aviation or transport industry.
• Strong experience scheduling technically complex and high value infrastructure projects.
• Extensive knowledge of scheduling principles, methods, techniques and tools.
• Extremely proficient in Primavera P6.
• Experience working in a consultancy, client, or contractor organisation.
• Detailed knowledge of planning, design, and construction activities for aviation projects (terminals, airfields, piers, civils).
• Ability to build critical path schedules from first principles.
