About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and continuously improve scheduling systems and processes to meet operational demands
- Coordinate and maintain staff schedules across multiple departments to ensure adequate coverage
- Analyze workforce data and forecast scheduling needs to proactively address gaps or conflicts
- Collaborate with department leaders to align scheduling with production targets and business priorities
- Monitor attendance, time-off requests, and schedule changes within scheduling software
- Lead and mentor scheduling staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
- Identify opportunities for process improvement to increase scheduling efficiency
- Generate scheduling reports and present findings and recommendations to senior leadership
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations, company policies, and collective bargaining agreements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Human Resources, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in a scheduling, workforce management, or operations supervisory role
- Proficiency with scheduling software and workforce management platforms (e.g., Kronos, UKG, or similar)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in record-keeping
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel for data analysis
Benefits
- Base Salary: $75,000 – $95,000 per year
