About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and maintain daily schedules for home assessment nurses across Boston, Springfield, and Worcester.
- Reach out to members via phone to schedule and confirm initial and follow-up assessment visits.
- Optimize nurse schedules by considering geography and availability to minimize travel time and maximize efficiency.
- Update EMR and scheduling systems in real time with accurate appointment and member information.
- Communicate promptly with nursing staff and leadership regarding schedule changes, cancellations, or urgent needs.
- Track assessment completion rates and follow up on outstanding appointments.
- Document all outreach attempts, scheduling details, and special instructions in appropriate systems.
- Provide excellent customer service to members and caregivers while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent work experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare scheduling, coordination, or administrative roles.
- Proven experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and scheduling systems.
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and working within healthcare settings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and remote collaboration platforms.
- Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Must reside in Massachusetts to be strongly considered for this role.
