About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and maintain daily schedules for home assessment nurses across Boston, Springfield, and Worcester.
  • Reach out to members via phone to schedule and confirm initial and follow-up assessment visits.
  • Optimize nurse schedules by considering geography and availability to minimize travel time and maximize efficiency.
  • Update EMR and scheduling systems in real time with accurate appointment and member information.
  • Communicate promptly with nursing staff and leadership regarding schedule changes, cancellations, or urgent needs.
  • Track assessment completion rates and follow up on outstanding appointments.
  • Document all outreach attempts, scheduling details, and special instructions in appropriate systems.
  • Provide excellent customer service to members and caregivers while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare scheduling, coordination, or administrative roles.
  • Proven experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and scheduling systems.
  • Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and working within healthcare settings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and remote collaboration platforms.
  • Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • Must reside in Massachusetts to be strongly considered for this role.
