Scheduler

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement staff to deliver comprehensive planning and scheduling from conceptual phases through execution.
• Generate resource-loaded schedules incorporating activities, milestones, approvals, and critical project deliverables.
• Develop and refine schedule logic, identify constraints, and calculate realistic durations based on available resources.
• Evaluate the impact of design changes and schedule delays, communicating updates to management and clients.
• Utilize engineering and construction concepts to sustain critical path logic networks and gather historical data for forecasting.
• Provide mentorship and specialized assistance in resolving complex project control problems and delivering statistical reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of construction scheduling experience on heavy industrial projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera and Excel.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction engineering technology, applicable codes, and standards.
• Fluency in English with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required to meet project deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically within the hydroelectric or nuclear sectors.
• Familiarity with various cost control methods including EPC, Joint Venture, Lump Sum, and Time and Material.
