Scheduler, Design Engineering

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed schedules for design engineering projects based on system priorities and workload demand.
• Ensure design engineering schedules are properly resource loaded and manage adjustments as conditions change.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve scheduling conflicts and ensure efficient execution of priority work.
• Forecast workload with internal and external workgroups regarding resource planning and availability.
• Identify scheduling constraints, analyze alternatives, and recommend solutions to mitigate service impacts.
• Monitor and communicate design engineering schedule updates to relevant parties.

Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Engineering or a scientific discipline associated with power plant operations (or equivalent work experience).
• At least 6 years of professional scheduling experience.
• High level of proficiency in Primavera P6 functions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in the nuclear industry.
• Prior experience in design engineering scheduling.
• Knowledge of PowerBI and other data analysis tools.
• Experience implementing or redefining a scheduling program within an organization.
