Scenario Engineer, Mining Autonomy

Responsibilities

• Design and create simulation test scenarios across Mining Autonomy domains
• Define and implement safety and comfort performance requirements for scenarios
• Maintain and curate existing scenario sets and libraries
• Create data visualizations and reports to analyze AV performance and coverage
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to provide feedback on simulation functionality
• Support customer teams in building scenario libraries for specific operational design domains

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a 4-year university
• Experience in scenario creation and simulation testing for autonomous vehicles
• Understanding of the safety verification and validation process for vehicle software
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Passion for developing comprehensive safety arguments for autonomous systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to code in a scripting language (e.g., Python) to automate workflows
