SCC Application Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design system data-related architecture and manage requirements for Supervision Control Center (SCC) systems
• Write system data-related specifications and update design documentation based on peer reviews or customer comments
• Ensure system architecture and design comply with RAM, Safety, and Cybersecurity requirements
• Define, produce, and validate all SCC application data and parameters to customize systems for specific projects
• Perform data preparation for ATS, SCADA, and Security Systems based on design documents and tools
• Interface with cross-functional teams including ETCS, TMS, RBC, Interlocking, and Cybersecurity
• Perform integration between products, modules, and interfaces, including HMI and data
• Define and execute test plans, including Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and Integration Test Reports (ITR)
• Support defect analysis to identify and resolve issues within products, modules, or data

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or an equivalent field
• 5+ years of experience in the railway industry
• 5+ years of experience in system data-related engineering (requirements, architecture, integration)
• 3+ years of experience with large control center systems and their integration challenges
• Knowledge of Cybersecurity and network principles, as well as distributed systems
• Knowledge of VM Ware and SQL server basics
• Knowledge of requirement management tools such as DOORS
• Excellent communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with ICONIS products (e.g., ATS CF, ATS CT, S2K-AGUI, S2K-UHMI)
• Knowledge of ETCS
• Experience with configuration management tools
