Scalehouse Operator

Responsibilities

• Weigh vehicles upon entry and exit and operate the scale system
• Record vehicle weights and verify documentation and permits
• Enforce safety regulations and control facility access
• Verify driver identification and load information
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and communicate with drivers and supervisors

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
• Previous security or scalehouse experience preferred
