SCADA Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot industrial SCADA and HMI systems
• Provide operator interface support for production operations and maintenance departments
• Ensure operator interfaces and data acquisition systems function as designed
• Perform minor SCADA and HMI programming changes and continuous improvement initiatives
• Troubleshoot MES data records from Ignition Edge Gateways to the raw record database
• Work with engineers to deploy SCADA and HMI hardware and new MES configurations
• Follow all Safety and Environmental policies and procedures

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a hands-on technician working on SCADA and HMI systems
• Experience with Ignition Perspective, Siemens WinCC, and Rockwell FTView ME
• Ability to review, redline, and read electrical schematics
• Experience with IPC and Panel PC setup and deployment
• Proficiency in troubleshooting OT networks and electrical components
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and blueprints
• Associate Degree in Electrical, Controls, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Experience in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Quickbase
• Experience configuring Siemens Scalance Managed Network Switches
• Experience with iba and Octoplant
