SCADA Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and implement network upgrades, expansions, and modifications for existing SCADA systems across North American wind farms.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on network design, providing technical guidance on hardware (Cisco, Hirschmann, Palo Alto) and transmission systems (fiber, wireless, LTE/5G).
• Manage large-scale network projects, including technology refreshes and security enhancements, from conception to completion.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical leadership, including coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals and technicians.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in network engineering and design.
• Proven experience in Industrial Control System (ICS) or SCADA environments.
• Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE, or PCNSE.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex network projects with a high degree of autonomy.
