SCADA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate SCADA systems to ensure continuous and reliable performance
• Perform data validation from the field through to the AVEVA Platform
• Design, write, implement, test, and document SCADA and HMI logic and scripts
• Troubleshoot and resolve SCADA software, communication, and integration issues
• Monitor system alarms, events, and logs to respond promptly to abnormal conditions
• Maintain system backups, restore procedures, and data integrity
• Prepare site-specific checklists and execute system verification tasks
• Assist in system upgrades, testing, and commissioning activities onsite
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, maintenance records, and reports

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Computer Science
• Minimum 3+ years of experience with AVEVA System Platform
• Proven experience with SCADA and HMI logic/scripts
• Must be a UAE resident with a valid driving license
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
