SC Import Planner/Market Back Supply Scheduler

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the import of finished lubricants to meet customer demand efficiently while minimizing costs.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability and delivery.
• Develop and maintain accurate inventory plans aligned with production schedules.
• Manage and mitigate supply disruptions and drive supplier business continuity plans.
• Monitor inventory levels, track material usage, and adjust plans to prevent shortages or excess stock.
• Generate and adjust purchase orders in collaboration with suppliers to ensure quality and specification standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, or a related field (e.g., Applied Mathematics/Statistics).
• 3-5 years of experience in supply chain or manufacturing positions.
• Proficiency in SAP systems and MS Excel is critical.
• Strong background in statistics and analytics.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to work effectively in a global, virtual team environment.
• Strong judgment and the ability to make quality decisions independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting supply chain activities for large-scale operations, particularly in Oil & Gas.
• Experience in supply planning roles within Chemical, FMCG, CPG, or Manufacturing sectors.
• Experience with SAP IBP/APO, Blue Yonder, or Kinaxis.
• Proficiency with Tableau, Power BI, or Power Query.
• Knowledge of R or Python for scripting.
• Experience in petrochemical production or manufacturing processes.
