Saw Operator Level 2

Responsibilities

• Accurately cut vinyl profiles to specified dimensions using industrial saw equipment
• Operate various hand tools to manually construct window units
• Set up welding equipment and select appropriate materials based on specifications
• Operate welding machines to fabricate and assemble window frames
• Perform quality inspections and audits to ensure high-quality welds and products
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment following 5S, PPE, and LOTO procedures
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and stand for the duration of a shift
• Knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and measuring tape
• Proficiency in basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Ability to use computerized equipment
• Physical stamina for repetitive tasks and various working positions
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous manufacturing or saw operation experience is an asset
