Saw Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate various hand tools to manually construct window units
• Set up welding equipment and select appropriate materials based on specifications
• Operate welding machines to fabricate and assemble window frames
• Ensure accurate measurements and alignment during the welding process
• Perform quality inspections and audits to ensure production standards are met
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment following 5S, PPE, and LOTO procedures
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and stand for the duration of a shift
• Knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and measuring tape
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Capability to use computerized equipment
• Physical stamina for repetitive tasks and working in various positions
• Ability to recognize materials by shape and color
