Saw Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate a saw to create customized parts within specific tolerances
• Review and organize work orders and log job details
• Set up measurements on the saw and supply the bar feeder with material
• Perform quality checks using hand measurement tools like micrometers and calipers
• Deburr finished parts using a deburring wheel or other hand tools
• Communicate material needs to leads and production planners
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and maintain 5S standards in the work area

Requirements

• Ability to lift, lower, push, or pull up to 40 lbs safely
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Solid blueprint reading skills
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience running a saw
