About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate a range of metal cutting saw machines and components according to drawing and routing instructions
- Perform 100% inspection of completed parts to ensure compliance with engineering drawings
- Report daily production figures to the immediate supervisor
- Handle raw and machined materials safely and effectively in accordance with HSE requirements
- Maintain high housekeeping standards in line with company requirements
- Adhere to all Howco Group Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies
Requirements
- ITI or Basic higher secondary school completion
- 3 years of work experience operating saw cutting machines
- Minimum 2 years of inspection experience in a machine shop or industrial environment
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Proficiency with measuring equipment
- Knowledge of material handling, including crane and forklift operations
- Positive attitude toward operational changes and plant efficiency improvements
