Saw Operative

Responsibilities

• Operate a range of metal cutting saw machines and components according to drawing and routing instructions
• Perform 100% inspection of completed parts to ensure compliance with technical specifications
• Report daily production metrics to the immediate supervisor
• Handle raw and machined materials safely and effectively in accordance with HSE requirements
• Maintain high housekeeping standards in line with company requirements
• Adhere strictly to all Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies

Requirements

• ITI or Basic higher secondary school completion
• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating saw cutting machines
• Minimum of 2 years of inspection experience in a machine shop or industrial environment
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and use measuring equipment
• Knowledge of material handling, including crane and forklift operations
• Strong awareness of HSE policies and safety protocols

• Experience with effective cutting parameters for various metal materials
• Positive attitude toward operational changes and plant efficiency improvements
• Strong communication skills for effective team coordination
