Saw Operative

Responsibilities

• Operate saw cutting machines using effective parameters for various materials
• Perform 100% inspection of completed parts according to drawings and routing instructions
• Adhere to all Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies
• Carry out the phosphating process as required
• Report daily production figures to the immediate supervisor
• Handle materials safely and effectively in accordance with HSE requirements
• Maintain high housekeeping standards within the machine shop
• Perform general operational tasks as needed to support plant efficiency

Requirements

• ITI or higher secondary school completion
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating saw cutting machines
• Minimum 2 years of inspection experience in a machine shop or industrial environment
• Proficiency in using measuring equipment
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Knowledge of material handling, including crane and forklift operation
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude toward operational change
