About the role

Responsibilities

  • Chop, slice, and prepare ingredients for sautéed dishes including vegetables, meats, and sauces
  • Skillfully sauté dishes according to recipes and chef instructions to ensure consistency
  • Maintain 100% responsibility for the quality of products served
  • Comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, and kitchen policies
  • Stock and maintain sufficient food levels at line stations for smooth service
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation, including grills, fryers, and refrigeration equipment
  • Follow proper plate presentation and garnish setup
  • Handle, store, and rotate all products properly
  • Assist with food prep during off-peak periods and follow kitchen closing checklists
  • Adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies

Requirements

  • Experience in kitchen preparation and/or cooking
  • Passion for food and providing an excellent dining experience
  • Energetic and positive attitude
  • Ability to communicate clearly with managers and team members
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 20+ pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods (up to 9 hours)
