Satellite Systems Ground Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop, and verify lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions
• Evaluate customer and operational needs to define system performance requirements
• Perform analyses to optimize system architecture, affordability, safety, reliability, and security
• Support requirements management processes, including risk, issues, and technology readiness assessments
• Develop, execute, and document test plans, procedures, and reports for ground systems

Requirements

• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science
• 5 or more years of related work experience
• Experience in the verification and test of ground systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience writing requirements and Interface Control Documents (ICDs) for ground systems
• Experience developing and executing system test plans and procedures
• Experience working within a scaled agile development process
• 3+ years of experience in system requirements generation, verification, and integration and test (I&T)
• Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI security clearance
