Satellite Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Maintain continuous, high-quality monitoring and control of the satellite constellation during all shifts
• Ensure safe operations, early detection of anomalies, and proper escalation or resolution
• Enhance Satellite Operations by developing and refining procedures, tools, and workflows
• Support fleet maintenance activities and satellite in-orbit testing
• Contribute to mission readiness through simulations and Launch and Early Orbit Operations
• Deliver clear shift handovers, incident reporting, and documentation

Requirements

• University degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Space studies, Applied Physics, or a similar field
• Strong English language skills (both written and spoken)
• Ability to work 24/7 rotating shifts (morning, evening, and night shifts, 365 days a year)
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to react quickly to contingencies
• High attention to detail and an excellent ability to focus
• A genuine interest in the Space Industry and Satellite Operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience or background in the space industry
• Knowledge of satellite systems and orbital mechanics
• Familiarity with Linux systems and Python programming
• Experience using Atlassian Cloud tools such as Jira and Confluence
