SAP Transportation Technical Lead

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and optimize transportation planning, execution, and freight cost management
• Configure and support SAP TM solutions within both ECC and S/4HANA environments
• Integrate third-party service providers using APIs and EDI capabilities on the BN4L Freight Collaboration module
• Design and implement transportation lane-based solutions for optimized routing and cost efficiency
• Conduct architectural reviews and assessments to identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies
• Oversee the creation of functional designs, test cases, and user manuals in compliance with pharmaceutical standards
• Lead and mentor other architects and team members to ensure effective project execution
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives utilizing the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
• Develop innovative solutions utilizing AI/ML to drive speed to value

Requirements

• 12-17 years of SAP implementation experience, specifically within SAP MM, PP-PI, and QM modules
• Strong hands-on experience configuring and customizing SAP S/4 TM
• Proven expertise in BN4L best practices for Freight Collaboration and onboarding third-party providers
• Deep understanding of transportation execution, freight cost calculation, and carrier collaboration
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation or upgrades
• Ability to perform debugging and root cause analysis to implement business-driven solutions
• Experience working within Agile/SAFe methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4 TM professional certification
• Agile Certified Practitioner certification
• Experience in life sciences, biotech, or other highly regulated industries
• Knowledge of SAP S/4 Inbound logistics and warehouse management processes
• Familiarity with JIRA, ALM, ServiceNow, and Solution Manager
• Exposure to AI and automation in supply chain applications
