SAP Solution Engineer – Distribution

Responsibilities

• Provide functional support for global SAP SD and Warehouse Management (WM) implementations
• Configure SAP SD/WM modules including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and warehouse operations
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and conduct fit-gap analyses
• Design and implement solutions integrating SAP with 3PL WMS and other non-SAP systems like ShipERP and Pick Pro
• Prepare detailed functional specification documents and support user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Monitor batch jobs, EDI interfaces, and system health to ensure proactive issue resolution
• Debug configuration or process issues and work with technical teams to resolve them
• Document all work and assist with user training and post-go-live support

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Applications, Information Systems, or a related field
• 5+ years of SAP SD and WM configuration experience in global environments
• Experience with at least one full lifecycle SAP implementation in SD/WM modules
• Strong knowledge of warehouse, shipping, logistics, and inventory control processes
• Proven experience with 3PL system integration and transportation interfaces
• Basic ABAP debugging skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Postgraduate education or professional certifications in SAP SD/WM or Supply Chain
• Experience with SQL or interface-related database queries
