SAP Security Consultant

Responsibilities

• Handle P1 and P2 priority tickets related to SAP Security and Authorizations
• Analyze and resolve critical access and authorization issues within defined SLA/KPI timelines
• Perform impact analysis, prioritization, and escalation management for high-severity incidents
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring security incidents and recommend preventive measures
• Manage user administration activities including creation, modification, and access troubleshooting
• Troubleshoot authorization issues using SU53, ST01, SUIM, and PFCG
• Support the design, modification, and maintenance of single, composite, and derived SAP roles
• Ensure role changes align with Segregation of Duties (SoD), audit, and compliance requirements

Requirements

• 6–8 years of experience in SAP Security and Authorizations
• Proven experience in production support and handling P1/P2 priority tickets
• Hands-on expertise in PFCG role maintenance and user administration
• Strong proficiency in authorization troubleshooting and analysis using SU53, ST01, and SUIM
• Deep understanding of Segregation of Duties (SoD) concepts and authorization objects
• Experience using ticketing tools such as ServiceNow
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related discipline
