SAP S/4 Hana Finance Functional SME

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end functional delivery for SAP S/4HANA Finance workstreams, including General Ledger, Group Reporting, and consolidation.
• Contribute to and review functional designs and configurations across FI/CO to ensure alignment with solution architecture and accounting principles.
• Ensure S/4HANA Finance solutions support accurate posting, close, consolidation, and reporting outcomes.
• Develop and maintain delivery plans covering functional scope, milestones, and dependencies across integration points.
• Proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies (RAID) with a focus on financial accuracy and regulatory expectations.
• Coordinate delivery across Finance, Data, Integration, Testing, and Deployment teams to ensure coherent execution.
• Support SIT and UAT execution, including the validation of close and consolidation scenarios and assessment of defects.
• Assist with production readiness and cutover preparation to ensure a smooth transition to business-as-usual operations.

Requirements

• Strong experience delivering SAP S/4HANA Finance capabilities within large-scale transformation programs.
• Hands-on configuration experience in SAP GL, AP, AR, AA, and Project Systems.
• Solid understanding of group close and consolidation concepts, including intercompany processing, eliminations, and currency translation.
• Deep knowledge of Finance & Controlling (FI/CO) processes.
• Experience operating in complex, global delivery environments with multiple cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to provide structured, finance-relevant updates for decision-making.
• Proficiency in delivery governance, including planning, dependency management, and RAID management.
