SAP QA Engineer with Automation

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API testing.
• Create and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test cases.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or SoapUI.
• Validate SAP Fiori/UI5 applications, SAP GUI transactions, workflows, and integrations.
• Manage test data, defect tracking, triage, and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, data engineers, and stakeholders.
• Identify security, authorization, and data integrity issues.
• Contribute to QA process improvements, tool evaluations, and proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives.

Requirements

• 7+ years of QA experience in manual and automated testing.
• Strong experience with Robot Framework, Playwright, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, and Tricentis Tosca.
• Expertise in API testing and SAP testing environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agile and DevOps testing practices.
• Performance testing experience using JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle.
• Knowledge of OData services, IDocs, and RFC-based integrations.
• Strong analytical and data validation skills using SQL and Python (Pandas).
• Exposure to AI-assisted test automation solutions.
