SAP MM-PLM Electronics Specialist

Responsibilities

• Ensure product routing data in SAP is up to date with ongoing changes
• Manage Bill of Materials (BOM) for electronics to ensure manufacturing and assembly readiness
• Maintain correct part numbers, package types, footprints, quantities, reference designators, and alternates
• Monitor and maintain product lifecycle status
• Manage Engineering Change Requests (ECR) in SAP, supporting BOM corrections through the change management process
• Ensure proper documentation, approvals, and audit traceability for all changes
• Maintain revision control and validity dates while aligning with relevant stakeholders
• Create and extend SAP Material Masters
• Create SAP Work Centers, connecting cost centers to assembly areas, working hours, and calculation keys
• Create Production Versions to link industrial engineering and logistics information

Requirements

• 6-8 years of relevant work experience
• Bachelor of Engineering degree
• Proficiency in SAP PLM
• Strong understanding of SMT (Surface Mount Technology) and PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) processes
• Functional competence in production, logistics, and controlling
