SAP Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own SAP integration projects end-to-end from PoC through production go-live
• Design scalable integration architecture using SAP BTP, OData, REST, and SOAP APIs
• Build and configure integration flows, API connectors, and data transformations
• Navigate enterprise SAP constraints including security policies and complex authorization models
• Partner with customer SAP Basis, BTP, and application teams
• Support partner enablement for system integrators
• Shape the integration practice by creating standardized approaches and playbooks
• Provide structured product feedback to Product and Engineering teams

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in SAP integration engineering or SAP BTP development
• Hands-on expertise with SAP BTP Integration Suite (formerly CPI)
• Solid understanding of SAP data models (S/4HANA, ECC, Service Cloud, or CRM)
• Proficiency with OData, REST, SOAP, OAuth2, and SAP IAS/XSUAA
• Ability to operate independently in high-responsibility customer environments
• Clear communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• German language skills
• Experience with conversational AI or contact center platforms
• Familiarity with SAP AI Core or SAP Agent Builder
• Experience working with SAP system integrators in delivery or presales
