SAP Indirect Tax Technology Senior Consultant

Responsibilities

• Lead client workshops to capture functional requirements and document user needs
• Create and maintain functional design documentation for indirect tax statutory reporting and E-Invoicing compliance
• Develop and implement strategies for the digitalization of indirect tax processes
• Analyze country-specific indirect tax regulations and translate them into actionable technical specifications
• Collaborate with technical delivery teams to deploy SAP E-Invoicing solutions
• Support client teams during user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate solution functionality
• Stay updated on emerging trends in tax technology, such as SAP DRC and VIDA

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Taxation, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven SAP Tax experience, ideally including 1-2 end-to-end SAP DRC implementation projects
• Knowledge of multi-country indirect taxation (e.g., VAT, GST) and technology solutions like DRC
• Familiarity with E-Invoicing systems and regulatory frameworks such as Peppol
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert complex regulatory requirements into technical solutions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with S/4HANA implementations
• Knowledge of other ERP systems or tax technology solutions such as Avalara or Vertex
• Understanding of SAP FI, SD, and MM modules
