SAP Functional Lead

Responsibilities

• Serve as the functional expert for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance modules (FI, CO, RAR, AA)
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, financial reporting, and audit activities
• Configure and maintain revenue recognition processes in compliance with ASC 606/IFRS 15
• Manage user access, roles, and permissions using SAP Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles
• Design and maintain role-based security following segregation of duties (SOD) best practices
• Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolution with external consultants
• Lead SAP enhancement projects from requirements gathering through implementation
• Translate business requirements into system configurations and process designs
• Lead user training initiatives and build internal SAP capability

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or Business Administration
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA
• Deep expertise in SAP Finance modules: FI, CO, RAR, and AA
• Strong Identity and Access Management (IAM) experience
• Proven workflow configuration and automation experience
• Strong accounting and finance background with understanding of financial principles
• Revenue recognition expertise (ASC 606, IFRS 15)

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP certification in S/4HANA Finance or related modules
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud
• Construction industry experience with Project Systems (PS)
• Supply Chain experience including Materials Management (MM)
• Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
• Experience with subscription-based or recurring revenue business models
