SAP Finance Delivery Architect Director

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture and delivery execution for complex, large-scale SAP Finance transformation programs.
• Design scalable, compliant SAP Finance solutions, defining system structures, interfaces, and solution principles.
• Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite and Director-level stakeholders, aligning technology delivery with business objectives and financial governance.
• Drive pre-sales activities, including RFI/RFP responses, effort estimation, and commercial modeling for pursuits exceeding $50M TCV.
• Lead solution blueprinting, architecture, and program strategy across the full delivery lifecycle.
• Manage and motivate multi-functional teams in complex, dispersed environments to ensure successful implementation.
• Identify technical evolution scenarios and define governance models to strengthen the partnership between Capgemini and the client.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• 15+ years of professional experience in SAP and large-scale Finance (FI/CO) transformations.
• 5+ full lifecycle implementations with strong S/4HANA experience.
• Proven expertise in delivering both S/4HANA greenfield and brownfield programs.
• Deep functional expertise in SAP Finance (FTM), including Record-to-Report (R2R) and modules such as GL, AP, AR, AA, CCA, and PCA.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture, Fiori, and BTP.
• SAP certifications relevant to the domain.
• Architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF) or relevant methodology credentials.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a large System Integrator (SI) or Big 4 consulting environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead high-value oral presentations and executive-level workshops.
• Expertise in stitching SAP and non-SAP applications together within a composable enterprise topology.
