About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the seamless integration of third-party and legacy ERP systems with SAP ECC and S/4HANA landscapes.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for all SAP FI and CO configurations, including troubleshooting and optimization.
  • Manage the full FICO spectrum: FI (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Treasury) and CO (CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, CO-PC, CO-PA).
  • Design and maintain robust Master Data strategies to ensure consistency and accuracy during data migrations.
  • Resolve complex technical queries and debug cross-module integration errors.
  • Partner with business stakeholders and technical architects to translate financial needs into scalable IT solutions.

Requirements

  • 4 to 8 years of professional experience in SAP FICO roles.
  • Extensive hands-on configuration experience in both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA Finance.
  • Deep practical knowledge of FI modules (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Treasury).
  • Strong expertise in CO modules (Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis).
  • Proven experience integrating SAP FICO with external systems using APIs, IDocs, and middleware.
  • Expertise in SAP Master Data management (Customer, Vendor, G/L accounts, Cost Elements).
  • Ability to write and optimize SQL/SAP queries for troubleshooting and data reconciliation.
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex architectures to business users.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP S/4HANA Finance or Management Accounting Certification.
  • Experience with SAP Central Finance (CFIN) or large-scale digital transformation projects.
  • Familiarity with agile project delivery methodologies.
