SAP FICO Consultant

Responsibilities

• Handle P1 and P2 priority incidents related to SAP FICO modules and ensure resolution within SLA timelines
• Analyze and resolve production issues impacting finance business processes
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implement preventive solutions
• Coordinate with technical teams including ABAP, BASIS, and Integration for issue resolution
• Provide functional support for FI modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting) and CO processes (Cost Center, Internal Orders, Profit Center)
• Support financial data analysis, reporting issues, and performance optimization in HANA/S4HANA environments

Requirements

• 6–8 years of experience in SAP FICO functional consulting
• Strong experience in production support and handling P1/P2 incidents
• Hands-on experience with General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting, and Profit Center Accounting
• Experience working in SAP HANA or S/4HANA environments
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related discipline

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with S/4HANA Finance and Fiori finance applications
• Knowledge of integration with MM and SD modules
• Familiarity with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy
• Understanding of ITIL-based support processes
