SAP Cost Accounting Consultant

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement core SAP CO sub-modules including Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
• Ensure seamless integration of SAP CO with other functional modules such as FI, MM, PP, and SD.
• Gather and document business requirements to develop efficient CO solutions and conduct stakeholder workshops.
• Deliver end-to-end support for SAP CO implementations, enhancements, and upgrades.
• Develop comprehensive test plans, conduct system testing, and document functional designs and change requests.
• Facilitate end-user training sessions and provide mentorship to junior consultants.
• Support finance teams with month-end and year-end closing activities and identify process improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in SAP CO configuration and support.
• Deep understanding of internal cost control, budgeting, and management accounting.
• Proven ability to integrate SAP CO with other functional modules.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP CO certification.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and its specific CO functionalities.
• Exposure to SAP Fiori applications or SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
