SAP BODS DevOps Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans and manage the delivery of all SAP BODS interfaces.
• Manage project delivery costs, budget tracking, vendor contracts, and resource allocation.
• Lead technical teams by providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Engage with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and finance, to provide regular updates and manage expectations.
• Identify and assess potential risks, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans to ensure zero business disruption.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, data mappings, and configuration settings.
• Drive continuous improvement and simplification within the existing system landscape to reduce Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

Requirements

• Profound knowledge of SAP BODS components, including Data Services Designer, Repositories, Job Server, and Access Server.
• Expertise in ETL development, specifically designing complex batch and real-time jobs, workflows, and data flows.
• Advanced SQL skills with experience writing complex queries, joins, and stored procedures.
• Strong experience with relational databases such as SAP HANA, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Proven experience in SAP integration using IDOCs, BAPIs, and RFCs with systems like SAP ECC, BW, and HANA.
• Demonstrated ability in performance tuning to optimize ETL job execution and handle large datasets.
• Experience in data migration projects, particularly migrating legacy data into SAP environments.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and coach diverse teams.
