SAP Basis Senior

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize SAP BASIS infrastructure to ensure system stability, security, and high performance.
• Perform SAP system administration on UNIX and Windows environments, including installations, upgrades, and kernel updates.
• Execute system copies, client copies, and export-import processes.
• Administer TMS, including configuration and troubleshooting transport errors.
• Monitor SAP system performance, conduct problem analysis, and implement tuning.
• Manage SAP HANA administration, including monitoring, tuning, and backup/recovery.
• Handle SAP role-based authorizations, user provisioning, and troubleshooting.
• Support SAP landscapes such as S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, PO/PI, and Fiori.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior BASIS team members.

Requirements

• 3 to 6 years of experience in the SAP Basis domain.
• Solid hands-on experience in SAP system administration and performance optimization.
• Proficient in SAP HANA administration (monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting).
• Strong knowledge of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) services and integration.
• Proven experience with RISE with SAP environments and operational activities.
• Experience working with public or private cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong documentation skills for technical and audit-ready system delivery.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical experience managing SAP workloads on Azure or AWS (VMs, storage, and networking).
• Exposure to SAP Cloud ALM (CALM) for monitoring and change control.
• Exposure to SAP Data Archiving with OpenText.
• SAP Technology Associate certifications (SAP Basis or HANA).
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with enterprise transformation tools like Signavio or LeanIX.
