SAP Basis Lead Consultant

Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation, configuration, and administration of SAP systems in development and production environments
• Lead performance tuning, optimizations, and capacity planning for SAP databases
• Monitor system health and proactively address issues to maintain high availability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and implement solutions
• Manage upgrades, migrations, and patches for SAP systems
• Act as a mentor and leader for junior consultants
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations and procedures
• Provide on-call support as required for SAP systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Minimum 7 years of experience in SAP Basis administration
• At least 3 years in a lead or senior consultant role
• Extensive knowledge of SAP installations, upgrades, and migrations
• Strong understanding of database management systems like Oracle or SQL Server
• Proficiency with Linux or Windows operating systems
• Proven ability to lead and manage teams
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with SAP HANA, S/4HANA, and cloud-based SAP solutions
• Industry-recognized SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate)
