SAP Basis Consultant

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy SAP solutions across Private and Public cloud environments, including Greenfield, Bluefield, and Brownfield implementations.
• Manage SAP system administration, including installations, configuration, SSO, certificates, and performance tuning.
• Perform SAP upgrades and migrations, including project planning and cross-team collaboration.
• Administer database technologies such as SAP HANA, Microsoft SQL, Oracle, MaxDB, and Sybase ASE.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs).
• Coordinate with internal IT teams, managed service providers, and vendors for scheduled and unscheduled SAP activities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in IT solutions with specific experience on SAP RISE (Public and Private) platforms.
• 8+ years of experience in the administration and management of SAP applications (S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA).
• Expertise in SAP HANA connectivity, administration, and security.
• Proficiency with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP BTP.
• Strong knowledge of Transport Management Systems (TMS) and Cloud Connector administration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Ability to work occasionally outside of standard business hours to support system administration needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with SAP BTP administration, security, and IAS trust setup.
• Experience with SAP Cloud ALM.
• Knowledge of architecture design principles and deployment processes.
• Familiarity with Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems.
• Relevant SAP Technology Certifications.
