SAP Basis Consultant

Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, and monitor SAP EWM systems on cloud VMs
• Ensure High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) using HANA System Replication (HSR) and cloud Site Recovery
• Manage end-to-end technical administration, including SAP kernel upgrades, HANA database patching, and SP updates
• Monitor and tune SAP EWM performance and background jobs
• Provide 24/7 technical support for P1/P2 incidents
• Maintain integrations with Material Flow Systems (MFS), RF/Handheld devices, and 3PL connections
• Perform EWM system refreshes and data volume management
• Automate SAP Basis operations using cloud automation tools

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as an SAP Basis Administrator or Consultant
• Hands-on experience managing or migrating SAP HANA on cloud environments
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Windows OS and cloud networking
• Expertise in SAP BTP, Cloud Connectors, and hybrid connectivity
• Deep understanding of technical requirements for S/4 HANA embedded or decentralized EWM
• Proficiency in SAP HANA administration, performance tuning, and backup/recovery strategies
• Experience with Transport Management System, system copies, and SAP Fiori troubleshooting
• SAP Certified Technology Associate certification
• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse automation scenarios
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
