SAP Basis Consultant

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain SAP environments including development, test, and production systems
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and enhancements
• Utilize SAP tools for transport management and client administration
• Implement and manage system backups and recovery plans
• Collaborate with functional teams to support new system implementations and migrations
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations and procedures
• Participate in on-call support rotations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in SAP Basis administration
• Strong understanding of SAP installations, configurations, and system monitoring
• Familiarity with Oracle, SQL Server, or SAP HANA
• Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP certifications such as SAP Certified Technology Associate
