SAP Basis and Performance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day technical health and performance of SAP systems including S/4HANA, BW, and PO
• Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across ABAP, HANA, and integrations
• Validate the impact of ABAP developments and integrations to ensure production stability and scalability
• Monitor and optimize HANA performance, including CPU, memory, and data growth management
• Support data volume management through archiving, housekeeping, and partitioning strategies
• Contribute to the evolution of the SAP landscape within hyperscaler and cloud environments
• Automate operational tasks such as monitoring, reporting, and deployments
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to execute SAP migrations and cloud improvements

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of proven SAP Basis experience in complex enterprise environments
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP HANA database administration
• Deep knowledge of SAP Basis/NetWeaver architecture and administration
• Experience operating SAP environments on cloud platforms or hyperscalers (AWS preferred)
• Strong experience in SAP performance analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization
• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Professional English proficiency (spoken and written)
• Ability to travel up to 20% (primarily to Brussels)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP Fiori administration and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of SAP BTP, CPI, or SAP integration scenarios
• Experience with scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or PowerShell
• Experience with SAP data volume management and archiving strategies
• Hospitality industry experience
