SAP Basis and Performance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day technical health of SAP systems including S/4, BW, and PO
• Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across ABAP, HANA, and integrations
• Validate the impact of ABAP developments, integrations, and data volume changes
• Monitor and optimize HANA performance regarding CPU, memory, and expensive statements
• Support data volume management through archiving, housekeeping, and partitioning strategies
• Contribute to the evolution of the SAP landscape in hyperscaler and cloud environments
• Automate operational tasks such as monitoring, reporting, and deployments
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on technical decisions and priorities

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of proven SAP Basis experience in complex enterprise environments
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP HANA database administration
• Deep knowledge of SAP Basis / NetWeaver architecture and administration
• Experience with SAP upgrades, migrations, and technical transformation projects
• Experience operating SAP environments on cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Professional English proficiency (spoken and written)
• University Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP Fiori administration and troubleshooting
• Experience with SAP PO, SAP BTP, or CPI environments
• Experience with SAP ASE databases
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Bash, Python, or PowerShell)
• Hospitality industry experience
