Responsibilities
- Lead and manage SAP ABAP-related tasks during system upgrades to SAP HANA
- Perform and oversee SPAU, SPAU_ENH, and SPDD activities
- Handle RICEFW objects independently (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows)
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during upgrade, FUT, UAT, and post-upgrade phases
- Delegate tasks, manage defect tracking, and ensure timely follow-ups
- Guide and mentor junior team members on defect resolution and upgrade methodologies
- Raise and manage OSS messages to SAP for standard issues
- Ensure effective communication with cross-stream teams
Requirements
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP
- Proven experience in SAP upgrade projects
- In-depth knowledge of SAP upgrade tools including SPAU, SPAU_ENH, and SPDD
- Strong RICEFW development skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and coordination abilities
- Familiarity with OSS note creation and management
