SAP ABAP Developer

Responsibilities

• Participate in technical planning and execution of SAP B1 to SAP ECC migration projects
• Design and implement data extraction routines and transformation logic
• Develop custom ABAP programs for data loading, integration, and enhancements
• Utilize SAP B1 SDK (DI API, UI API) for data extraction and customizations
• Design and implement integration solutions using SAP PI/PO, IDocs, or APIs
• Create detailed technical design documents for extraction, transformation, and integration
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the migration process
• Collaborate with functional consultants, project managers, and client stakeholders

Requirements

• 7-10 years of hands-on technical experience in SAP ABAP
• Proficiency in IDOCs, BAPI, BDC, and Function Modules (FM)
• Experience in both support and development, with implementation preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Strong understanding of SAP data structures, SQL Server, or SAP HANA
• Experience understanding customized functionality in SAP B1 and creating documentation
• Ability to work in UK Shift (2pm-11pm)
• Proficiency in writing technical specifications
• Experience with data migration methodologies and tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in SAP B1 development or SAP ABAP development
• Experience working directly with clients
